Four Lennar communities at Luna Park, in Irvine’s Great Park Neighborhoods, opened on the same Saturday at 10 AM. Each one needed its own route from the street to its models, and all four had to be finished before the first visitor arrived.
Four routes, each sized to its community
Each community was a separate order, built to its own size. Alta and Celeste each got a full route: clusters on 5 ft poles and clusters at the models, mini columns, two High-Endurance Columns, and a Deluxe 5ft Helium Highflier above it all. Isla and Rhea got scaled-down versions, with clusters marking the way in and, at Isla, a highflier of its own.
| Community | Build |
|---|---|
| Alta | 12 clusters · 3 pole clusters · 3 mini columns · 2 High-Endurance Columns · 1 highflier |
| Celeste | 12 clusters · 3 pole clusters · 3 mini columns · 2 High-Endurance Columns · 1 highflier |
| Isla | 6 clusters · 1 highflier |
| Rhea | 11 clusters |
What a driver sees first
The highfliers do the long-range work. A monument sign is about ten feet tall; a Deluxe 5ft Helium Highflier flies more than 100 feet up, above the rooflines, and its pennants move in the wind. Three of them over one neighborhood were visible from the surrounding roads long before any banner could be read.
